The New York State Workers' Compensation Board has announced the NYS Assessment Rate (applied to all NY workers' compensation insurance policies) is 9.2% for the calendar year 2024. This is a slight reduction from the 2023 rate of 9.8%.
NOTE: The Assessment Rate applied to Volunteer Firefighter Benefit Law (VFBL) and Volunteer Ambulance Workers Benefit Law (VAWBL) policies will remain 0%.
